The Community Asthma Project at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles is located within the Division of Clinical Immunology and Allergy.  The mission of Childrens Hospital Los Angeles is “to advance the health and well-being of children and adolescents by integrating medical care, preventive services, medical education, and research in response to the needs of our community and in an atmosphere of love, compassion and respect for people”. The Division provides specialized care for children who have the most severe asthma.  We follow over 500 children with asthma.

This website was developed by a Board certified Allergist, Ronald M. Ferdman MD, as well as a specialty care pediatric nurse practitioner, Catherine Goodhue CPNP.  Funding is generously provided by an unrestricted educational grant from a private foundation.
